Our Clinical Model
At buh•spok, we believe that healing happens in relationship—within therapy, within systems, and within the supervision that shapes clinical care. We are proud to support emerging trauma-informed therapists who are provisionally licensed and pursuing full licensure. These clinicians are not employees of buh•spok. They are independent contractors operating their own LLCs, offering therapy services as part of our extended clinical community.
Each therapist under supervision is deeply engaged in their own training, reflection, and development—and receives ongoing clinical supervision from Kedri Ladewig, LCSW, the founder of buh•spok.
Independent Practice, Collaborative Ethics
Provisionally licensed therapists listed on this site:

-
Are 1099 independent contractors, not employees of buh•spok.
-
Operate their own business entities (LLCs).
-
Are individually responsible for billing, documentation, and the legal/financial aspects of their services.
-
Are supervised by Kedri Ladewig, LCSW, in accordance with Colorado licensure board requirements.

While these therapists may be affiliated with the buh•spok brand through shared values and clinical alignment, they operate independently and are solely responsible for the services they provide.

What does Clinical Supervision Mean?
All provisionally licensed therapists in Colorado are required to practice under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional until they meet the requirements for independent licensure. Supervision ensures that:

-
Care remains clinically sound, trauma-informed, and ethically grounded.
-
Therapists receive support in complex clinical decision-making.
-
Clients benefit from the oversight of an experienced clinician who holds space for growth, nuance, and accountability.

At buh•spok, supervision is relational, reflective, and attuned. It is not just about meeting state requirements—it is about stewarding the depth and dignity of therapeutic work.
What This Means for You, as a Client
If you’re working with a provisionally licensed therapist supervised through buh•spok:
-
Your therapist operates their own business and holds legal/clinical responsibility for your care.
-
They meet regularly with Kedri for supervision and support.
-
You are always welcome to ask questions about their licensure status, scope of practice, or supervision process.
-
You will receive informed consent documents directly from your therapist’s business—not from buh•spok—though the shared standards for safety and trauma-informed care apply across all relationships.
